Atmosphere
It is the sphere above the soil. This is made up of a layer of gases, airborne particles and water vapor this makes life possible on earth. The most important gases for life on earth is nitrogen 78%, oxygen 21%, and carbon dioxide 0.03%. (Percentages may vary according to time period and area) The level of carbon dioxide is what scientists are worried about rising. Scientists determined that the rising levels of carbon dioxide will result in global warming. (For more information about global warming click the global warming button)
Lithosphere
Is the land mass made up of soil and rock. The lithosphere makes life on earth possible for many reasons such as... the lithosphere provides essential minerals for plants to use while they grow or maintain life, the lithosphere provides air and water for soil animals and to roots of plants, it is the substrate for habitat for plants and animals and the lithosphere plays and essential role in biogeochemical cycles.
Hydrosphere
Is the water that is on the earth surface eg dams, rivers, lakes, ponds, ocean and streams. Water covers 3/4 of the earths surface. Water is the most important constituent of all living organisms. Water provides rainfall that supports terrestrial ecosystems. Water has enormous influence on ocean currents and as a result this effects climatic condition all over the world.
