Biome
One of the Biospheres major communities characterised by certain climatic conditions and particular types of plants and animals.
Community
A group of organisms of different species living in a certain area at a certain time and interacting with one another.
Biotic organisms
All living organisms are biotic. Eg: Animals, Plants, Fungi, Bacteria, Viruses, etc
Abiotic components
Non-living this in the environment. Eg: Light, Sand, Temperature, etc
Biodiversity
Total number of species found in a area.
Ecosystem
A biological community together with abiotic environment, characterised by the flow of energy and the cycling of inorganic nutrients.
